Job Description - Brand Manager - Customer Marketing


At Mr Apple, every interaction with our customers shapes how our brand is experienced — and you’ll be at the heart of that connection. If you’re energised by fast paced work, cross cultural collaboration, and seeing your ideas land in real retail environments, this role gives you the chance to influence how our brand grows across Asia’s most dynamic developing markets.


What You’ll Be Doing:


You’ll be the driving force behind our customer marketing execution ensuring the Mr Apple brand is consistent, compelling, and culturally relevant.



  • Work closely with our Senior Brand Manager, Sales Team (NZ + overseas), and in market agencies to bring packaging, POSM, sampling and merchandising to life.

  • Build strong relationships with customers — virtually and in person — across multiple time zones. 

  • Manage agency partners, driving engagement, accountability, and efficiency.

  • Coordinate design, printing, manufacturing and shipping of packaging, POSM and merchandise.

  • Keep customers updated on shipping programmes, market activity, and retail opportunities.

  • Track ROI, secure data from agencies/customers, and use insights to improve performance.

  • Proactively hunt for new opportunities using competitor monitoring, customer insights, NZTE intel and market trends.


What You Bring:


A degree in marketing or a related field to the job ideally alongside 3–5 years’ experience in customer/trade marketing or a similar role.
Experience working with customers and delivering customer-first solutions.
Cultural awareness and confidence communicating with overseas customers.
Flexibility to work outside standard NZ hours during peak season.
Strong organisational skills — juggling multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders with ease.
A proactive mindset: you set your own targets, seek out opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.
A grounded, practical approach — more than just social media; you understand the full customer journey.
A continuous improvement mindset and a drive for results.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop or design tools is an advantage, as is the ability to speak an additional language relevant to Southeast Asian markets.
