Salary: £17.00–£21.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 4-day working week
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brazer to join a specialist manufacturing business in Downton. This is a great opportunity for someone with brazing experience who enjoys working on precision components and assemblies within a high-quality manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

Braze precision tube, pipe and fabricated assemblies.
Prepare, fit and align components prior to brazing.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Work with materials different materials including exotic metals.
Inspect completed work for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Identify and report any defects or production issues.
Complete production and traceability documentation.
Maintain equipment and a clean, organised working area.
Follow all quality, Health & Safety and manufacturing procedures. 
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in brazing within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with precision components, tube or pipe.
Ability to accurately read and work from engineering drawings.
Good practical fitting and assembly skills.
Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or nickel alloys would be advantageous.
Aerospace or automotive experience is beneficial but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach. 
What's On Offer

£17.00–£21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
4-day working week.
Five weeks' holiday, rising to six weeks.
