Location: Diss, Norfolk.

Hours: 39 hour working week.
Contract: Full Time, Temp-to-Perm.

We're recruiting for a Trainee Brazer / Welder to join a well-established manufacturer based in Diss, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previously done some welding, brazing, soldering, or similar hands-on engineering work and is looking to develop a career within manufacturing.

You do not need to be a qualified Brazer/Welder. If you're practical, eager to learn, and keen to develop specialist skills, full training and support will be provided.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position with a growing business for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with brazing/welding operations following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Prepare, assemble, and align components ready for brazing.
Learn specialist brazing techniques through on the job training.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Report any quality issues or defects to supervisors.
Work towards production targets while maintaining high standards.
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

What They're Looking For:

Some previous experience in welding, brazing, soldering, fabrication, assembly, or a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
A genuine interest in engineering and developing a skilled trade.
Willingness to learn and build a long-term career within the business.
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Strong practical and manual skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team and have a good level of spoken English.
Must be able to commute easily to Diss, Norfolk.

Weekday Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am to 1:30pm.
Overtime paid at time and a half (when available).
Holiday allowance (pro-rata).
