Location: Christchurch Primary School, Bradford upon Avon, Wilshire BA15 1ST

Pay: £8.00–£12.71 per hour

Contract: Term Time Only

⏰ Core Hours: 23.75 hours per week

Optional Lunch Cover: 12:00pm–1:00pm

Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and turn ordinary mornings and afternoons into unforgettable adventures! ⚽

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare – we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you’ll bring smiles, laughter and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.

This is a split-shift role, meaning you’ll work mornings and afternoons with a break in between – perfect for studying, family time, hobbies or simply having some time to yourself!

⏰ What are the hours?

Your core working hours are:

Breakfast Club: 7:15am–9:00am

After School Club: 3:00pm–6:00pm

That’s 23.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

There is also the opportunity to work optional lunchtime cover:

Lunch Cover: 12:00pm–1:00pm

Taking all five lunchtime sessions would add up to an additional 5 hours per week, bringing your potential term-time hours to 28.75 hours per week.

You’ll also have the opportunity to pick up additional hours outside of term time through our Holiday Clubs, giving you even more flexibility to increase your hours if you wish.

What will you be doing?

As a Childcare Activity Leader, you’ll help create exciting, safe and memorable experiences for children every day.

Your role will include:

• ⚽ Delivering exciting, age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play
• Setting up engaging play spaces and helping to keep them safe, clean and welcoming
• Supervising children with care, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Ensuring every child feels welcome, safe and included
• Preparing snacks and supporting mealtimes
• Managing sign-in and sign-out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail
• Working as part of a fantastic team while being confident taking the lead when needed
• Most importantly, bringing plenty of energy, enthusiasm and fun!

What are we looking for?

You don’t necessarily need a childcare qualification or years of experience – personality, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with children go a long way!

We’re looking for someone who:

• Loves working with children and has a positive, can-do attitude
• Is creative and can turn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience
• Is a great team player
• ️ Is confident communicating with children and colleagues
• ⚽ Enjoys being active and getting involved
• Is confident running activities and managing a group of children

Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare or youth work would be a bonus, but it’s not essential. Personality goes a long way!
