Are you an early riser with a passion for hospitality? Join our friendly team at our esteemed hotel in Glasgow, United Kingdom, as a Breakfast Assistant. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience.

• Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented
• Greet guests with a warm smile and provide attentive, efficient service throughout breakfast hours
• Implement our breakfast concept with enthusiasm and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area and kitchen
• Replenish food items and beverages as needed
• Assist with clearing tables and resetting for incoming guests
• Ensure smooth service delivery
• Address guest queries and special requests in a friendly, professional manner
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues across departments
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or professional experience in the hotel/catering industry (career changers are also welcome)
• Genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across departments
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to remain calm and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
