Net Temps Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast manufacturing company that is looking for experienced Brick Pointers to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a reputable employer offering long-term career prospects and ongoing training.

Working within a busy precast concrete factory, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products by accurately pointing brick slips and carrying out finishing work to a high standard.

Job Details

* Location: Colwick

* Pay Rate: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

* Hours: Monday to Friday

* Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Key Duties

* Pointing brick slips using mortar to achieve a high-quality finish.

* Applying and finishing mortar joints to specification.

* Carrying out repairs and cosmetic finishing work on precast concrete products.

* Cleaning and preparing concrete panels prior to finishing.

* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

* Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

* Assisting with general manual labour and production duties as required.

* Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience in brick pointing, bricklaying, masonry, or a similar finishing role.

* Own transport is essential due to the location and early start times.

* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

* Good attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards.

* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
