Job Description - Bridging Finance Solicitor

Bridging Finance Solicitor - Stockport

Experienced legal professional with a strong background in residential and commercial property transactions, particularly within lender finance. Proficient in managing complex cases involving bridging loans, buy-to-let, and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Managed end-to-end freehold and leasehold transactions, addressing enquiries, resolving title issues, conducting and reviewing searches, and satisfying mortgage conditions.
Conducted detailed title checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Supported junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants, providing guidance on complex transactions.
Prepared contracts and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Reviewed official documents for accuracy and completeness.
Liaised effectively with clients, agents, borrowers, solicitors, asset managers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth transactions.
Ensured accurate and timely completion of post-completion tasks.
Utilized case management systems daily to track and manage cases efficiently.
Managed client billing processes accurately, ensuring timely invoicing and payment tracking.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ PQE in residential or commercial conveyancing.
Demonstrated experience with buy-to-let, leasehold properties, and corporate clients.
Commercial conveyancing experience considered advantageous.
Proven ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive, commercially aware, and financially astute.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong teamwork ethos.
