Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise a busy pipeline of bridging loan applications.
• Underwrite cases in line with lending criteria and funding partner guidelines.
• Assess applicant creditworthiness and identify potential risks or red flags.
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and offer pragmatic alternatives where needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, borrowers, surveyors and solicitors.
• Collaborate with teams across the business — sales, compliance, finance and more.
• Keep internal systems updated and queries resolved swiftly and accurately.
• Stay informed on industry best practices, regulations and lending trends.
• Represent the company at events when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience underwriting bridging or short-term property loans.
• Strong understanding of specialist lending products and risk management.
• Clear, confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and commercially minded, with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
