Bristol Airport Turnaround Coordinator

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Turnaround Coordinators join a well-respected and successful client at Bristol Airport. This job offers full time hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic conditions and facilities.

As a TCO, you’ll be responsible for the safe, secure and effective turnaround of aircraft from arrival to departure. Previous supervisory experience in a Front of House / Check-in / Ground Handling environment is welcomed.

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £15.95 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension)
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off
• Shifts: Example times below.

• Temp to Perm (performance-based)
• Upskill opportunities leading to increased rates of pay available

Start Date:

• 18th May 2026

Main duties include:

• To consistently deliver the highest customer service at all times
• Communicate effectively with the ramp operation and third-party suppliers to ensure on-time departure targets are met.
• Responsible for coordinating the safe loading and unloading of the aircraft
• Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous airport experience within a turnaround coordinator/check-in/ground handling role
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Have a calm, friendly and professional manor
• Experience of supervising a number of teams
• Ability to quickly and accurately react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action
• Work well within a team
• Be able to pass a medical
• Hold a full driving license

Shift Hours:

5 on 3 off done on a rotational basis

Please find below an example of a roster:

• Day 1: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200
• Day 2: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200
• Day 3: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200
• Day 4: 1300 - 1900 / 1400 - 2000 / 1500 - 2100
• Day 5: 1300 - 1900 / 1400 - 2000 / 1500 - 2100
