About the Role:
My client, a growing and highly regarded independent insurance brokerage, is looking to hire a Broker Technician to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or someone with 1-2 years of insurance or administrative experience to develop their career in the Lloyd's and London insurance market.

You'll provide essential support to the broking team, helping with documentation, market submissions, and client coordination. This hands-on role offers a strong foundation in commercial insurance and market operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process insurance documentation (e.g. MRC slips, endorsements, evidence of cover)

Support brokers with market submissions and renewals

Liaise with clients and underwriters regarding queries and documentation

Maintain accurate records and manage timely data entry

Ensure compliance with market regulations and internal processes

Assist with general administrative support across the broking cycle

About You:
We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

A clear communicator, both written and verbal

Eager to learn and build a long-term career in insurance

Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)

Able to work well independently and within a small team

Desirable (but not essential):

Some experience in insurance, underwriting, or admin

Familiarity with PPL, ATLAS, or similar systems
