Pay: £90-£110 per day

Full-time/ Term Time only

Are you passionate about supporting deaf or hearing-impaired students? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic BSL Support Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team.

BSL Support Assistant Role:

• Provide in-class and individual support using BSL
• Support the communication and learning needs of deaf/hearing-impaired students
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning materials
• Help foster confidence, independence, and social integration
• Monitor and report on student progress

BSL Support Assistant Requirements:

• BSL Level 2 or above (Level 3 preferred)
• Experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired children (in education or other settings)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
