The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for several experienced BSL/Sign Language Specialist to join a supportive education provider in London from September 2026.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential. The successful candidates will work closely with students across a variety of curriculum areas, providing high-quality communication and learning support.

This opportunity would suit candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Further Education, schools, specialist education, residential care, supported living, or support work.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

BSL Level 4 or 6 (or equivalent)
Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired individuals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners
The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleaguesExperience in any of the following roles would be highly desirable:

BSL Interpreter
Communication Support Worker
Teacher of the Deaf
Learning Support Practitioner
Learning Support Assistant
Specialist Support Worker
SEND Support Worker
Deaf Support Worker
Teaching Assistant (BSL)
Education Support Worker
