Role Overview

A "Good" rated academy in Enfield seeks a qualified and experienced BTEC Applied Science Teacher for immediate commencement. The successful candidate will deliver BTEC Applied Science instruction and contribute to the delivery of KS3/4 biology, chemistry, and physics. Experience with KS5 Chemistry is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging BTEC Applied Science lessons.


• Instruct KS3/4 biology, chemistry, and physics.


• Optionally deliver KS5 Chemistry instruction.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.


• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in teaching BTEC Applied Science.


• Ability to deliver effective instruction in KS3/4 biology, chemistry, and physics.


• Experience with KS5 Chemistry instruction (preferred).


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong subject specialism.
