BTEC Business Studies Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced Business Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Warrington on a long-term basis.

The school provides a supportive and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on helping students achieve their potential.

The successful candidate must have previous experience teaching BTEC Business. This is a key requirement for the role, so candidates whose experience is limited to GCSE Business would not be suitable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business specialist looking for the stability of a long-term position within a supportive secondary school.

Hours: Approx. 8:30am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience teaching BTEC Business is essential
Experience teaching Business in a UK secondary school or FE setting
QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
Strong understanding of BTEC Business assessment and coursework requirements
Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging Business lessons
Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
