BTEC Business Tutor

Remedy Tutors are looking for an experienced Business/BTEC Business Tutor or Teacher to provide 1:1 face-to-face tuition to a 16-year-old learner in their home.

The role

* BTEC Business / Business Studies

* 1:1 face-to-face tuition

* 4 hours per week, Monday–Friday

* Daytime delivery between 9:00am–3:00pm

* One-year programme

* Lincoln-based

* Support with independent study and coursework

About the learner

The learner is academically able, has a strong interest in business and marketing, and is keen to continue their education.

They have experienced significant barriers to accessing mainstream education, including SEMH, autism, anxiety and EBSA. The successful tutor will therefore need to be calm, patient and consistent, with the ability to build trust and engagement.

We're looking for:

* Strong Business/BTEC Business subject knowledge

* Experience delivering BTEC or vocational Business

* Experience teaching/tutoring GCSE, Level 2 and/or Level 3

* Experience supporting learners with SEMH, autism, anxiety and/or EBSA

* 1:1 tuition or Alternative Provision experience is desirable

* A calm, supportive and adaptable approach

* Strong safeguarding and communication skills
