  • Working collaboratively with developers, architects, and internal stakeholders
  • Driving high standards of safety, compliance, and service
  • Supporting the evolution of team practices, standards, and strategic direction

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants must be a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) at Class 2D or above, with:

  • A calm, positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Commitment to high professional standards and service quality

The Offer

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum, with potential for additional payments based on experience and market conditions.

This is a respected leadership role within a modern, people-first Building Control service. The successful candidate will be trusted with autonomy, supported in development, and recognised for their expertise.

Benefits include:

  • Flexible and hybrid working options
  • Up to 26 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays and additional Christmas leave
  • Monthly flex days and the option to purchase more leave
  • Paid professional membership fees
  • Excellent Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Wagestream financial wellbeing platform
  • Cycle-to-work and electric vehicle schemes
  • Access to discounted healthcare, gym, and wellbeing services
  • Learning and leadership development pathways, including mentoring and CPD
  • Staff discounts, wellbeing programmes, and more

Lead with Integrity. Support Growth. Set the Standard.
For those ready to step into a leadership role that puts people, quality, and progress first, this is the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Legal Requirement: Applicants must be a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) approved by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). This is a statutory requirement and applications not meeting this standard cannot be considered.
