Registered Building Inspector – Class 2 / Class 3

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
Location: Remote Based – Occasional Office Attendance
Hours: Flexible Working

The Opportunity

GPS Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Registered Building Inspector to join an established Building Control organisation.

You'll manage a varied portfolio of residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations while working closely with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and assess Building Regulations compliance.

*

Review building control applications and technical documentation.

*

Provide professional guidance to clients and project teams.

*

Maintain accurate inspection and compliance records.

*

Resolve regulatory issues and support junior inspectors.

What You'll Need

*

BSR registration – minimum Class 2B, ideally 2D–F or Class 3.

*

Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or CABE.

*

Level 6 qualification in Construction, Building Control or related discipline.

*

Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation.

*

Experience using Bluebeam software.

*

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
