Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the maintenance and upkeep of a large production facility.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all buildings, services, and facilities across our site

• Work hands-on to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance issues

• Lead, manage, and support a small in-house team and any external contractors

• Plan and deliver routine preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime

• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Work closely with the production team to ensure the facility supports efficient operations

• Manage budgets, maintenance records, and equipment inventory

Building Maintenance Manager / Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager / FM

Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong technical knowledge of building systems – electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural

• Previous experience managing or leading a small team or contractors

• Ability to balance practical work with strategic planning and compliance oversight

• Proactive mindset with excellent organisational skills

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are advantageous
