* Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and statutory regulations.
* Support the delivery of a varied programme of dry hire events, functions and community activities.
* Act as the primary operational contact for venue hirers and key stakeholders.
* Manage facilities budgets and monitor expenditure.
* Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained across both sites.
* Assist with building opening, closing and event support arrangements when required.
* Participate in out-of-hours working, including evenings and weekends, to support events and operational requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience managing multiple buildings or sites.
* Strong facilities, building or venue management experience.
* Previous experience leading, supervising and motivating a small operational or facilities team.
* Knowledge of health & safety, compliance and statutory building requirements.
* Experience managing maintenance programmes and external contractors.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience working within civic, community, heritage, hospitality or event venue environments would be advantageous.
* A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
What's on Offer
* Opportunity to manage two well-established civic venues at the heart of the local community.
* Diverse role combining facilities management, team leadership and event operations.
* Significant autonomy and responsibility.
* Supportive working environment.
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
