Our client is a well -established
and successful business with an international reach in Construction, Engineering,
and various build out projects

They work on their own vast portfolio
of building projects as well as working closely with a wide range of partners, Main
contractors and sub -contractors

As they continue to expand, they
have been working closely with builders and construction companies of all sizes
to supply them with top quality materials and building products needed in this ever -expanding
industry

This position therefore requires
an Experienced building materials sales manager who has a good understanding of
construction and building products needed by contractors on a daily basis

Duties:

•         Sales Management of a busy builders’
  merchants
  
•         Manage a team of junior sales
  assistants in the stockroom and back office
  
•         Review sales figures to ensure
  regular turnover on a weekly and monthly basis is on track
  
•         Understand sales results and make
  amendments to products depending on stock turnover
  
•         Using the data at your disposal,
  makes sales management decisions on best sellers etc
  
•         Work closely with customers on
  their current and future materials requirements
  
•         Keep a regular eye on stock and
  price changes and keep competitive
  
•         Discuss sales figures with the management
  team and offer advice when needed
  
•        Produce quotes and tenders for client’s
  construction requirements
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

·                Previous building materials sales
experience required

·                Ideally you will have worked for a
Builders Merchants or Multi Branch Material supplier

·                Computer literate on spreadsheets,
accounts, stock control systems

·                Understand how a retail sales business
works

·                B2B account management and
customer relationship experience
