If you're an Architect with strong expertise in Building Regulations and a natural talent for organization and cross-department communication, you'll thrive in this field. They will provide comprehensive training for this role, however you will be able to draw on your relevant experience as an architect and will enjoy a smooth transition.

Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD)

Following the Building Safety Act (2022) the Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD) role involves Design Coordination in relation to the Building Regulations. You will liaise with your team to utilise Design Compliance trackers and provide design advice relevant to this.

Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD) Requirements

• Confident in your Building Regulation knowledge (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of Project experience post ARB /ACIAT certification (required)
• Member of a professional organisation: RIBA / ARB / MCIAT (preferred)
• Experience working as a BR Principal Designer (preferred)
