Building Service Contract Manager

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Contract Manager to join a respected and long-established service provider. This is a static position based at a single, flagship commercial site in Liverpool Street, offering an excellent platform for an experienced professional to demonstrate their leadership and technical skills in a high-profile environment.

This role offers a fantastic chance to gain hands-on managerial experience, develop close working relationships with a key client, and work within a prestigious location with high expectations of service delivery. To be successful in this Building Service Contract Manager role, you must come from a technical background (Electrical or Mechanically related), have at least 3 years experience as a Contract Manager, possess a client facing attitude, ability to lead a team and proven client management experience.

Building Service Contract Manager Duties:

• Full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a single, flagship commercial site
• Leading and supervising a team of on-site maintenance engineers
• Maintaining strong, professional relationships with the client through regular meetings and clear communication
• Ensuring all services are delivered in line with KPIs and SLAs
• Supporting both the client and engineering team with technical expertise
• Managing site compliance including H&S, permits, and quality control procedures
• Overseeing small works and additional project opportunities on-site
• Staff development including appraisals, training and recruitment
• Budget and financial responsibility including P&L management (training available if required)

Building Service Contract Manager Requirements:

• A strong technical background with qualifications in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Building Services/FM sector
• Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of P&L and financial oversight

Salary and Package:

• £65,000 per annum
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
