We are working with a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager to join their London team.

The role will involve taking responsibility for the M&E / building services elements of projects from pre-construction through to delivery, commissioning and handover.

You will work closely with the project team, consultants and subcontractors to ensure the mechanical and electrical packages are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across live projects

*

Coordinate M&E design with architectural and structural information

*

Manage specialist M&E subcontractors

*

Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions

*

Attend design, progress and client meetings

*

Monitor programme, quality and progress of building services works

*

Manage commissioning, testing and handover

*

Identify and resolve design and coordination issues

*

Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and commercial teams

*

Ensure works comply with relevant regulations, specifications and company standards

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Building Services Manager, M&E Manager or Technical Services Manager

*

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

*

Main contractor experience preferred

*

Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion

*

Strong understanding of design coordination, commissioning and handover

*

Confident dealing with clients, consultants and subcontractors

*

Commercial, residential, fit-out or refurbishment experience would be beneficial
