We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing team focused on building surveying projects across the UK. The building surveyor will work across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, and refurbishment projects. This building surveyor role will allow you to develop your expertise in building surveying while contributing to high-quality project delivery. The building surveyor will be based in a central London office, working with a team of skilled professionals.

The Role
As a building surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from survey to completion, providing expert advice and ensuring quality outcomes. The role will include:

Conducting condition surveys, building surveys, and due diligence assessments
Producing schedules of condition and licences to alter
Supporting design, refurbishment, and retrofit projects
Delivering External Wall System (EWS) visual and intrusive surveys
Managing contract administration and acting as an employers' agent
Providing input on planned and reactive maintenance programmes
Advising on building pathology, statutory compliance, and heritage mattersThe Building Surveyor
You will be a committed building surveyor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the property and construction industry. Private practice experience is preferred, and the candidate will have a demonstrable track record in commercial or residential projects. The ideal building surveyor will have:

A degree in building surveying or related property discipline
Experience managing construction contracts and project delivery
Strong communication skills to interface effectively with clients and teams
Ability to mentor junior colleagues and support a collaborative environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
A valid, clean driver's licenceIn Return

£57,000 - £67,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
