This opportunity suits a non chartered surveyor operating at either Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level who is looking for an environment where progression is based on ability and performance rather than time served. The Role You will work across a varied project portfolio, primarily within the Residential sector for both public and private sector clients. Projects will provide exposure to both new build and refurbishment schemes. Alongside residential work, you will also contribute to current ongoing projects across Education, Commercial and Healthcare sectors. Core responsibilities will include: Contract Administration Writing Specifications Stock Condition Surveys Defect Diagnosis General Building Surveying duties What’s on Offer Salary up to £65k DOE plus package Hybrid working: 2–3 days in the office, 2–3 days from home – to meet the needs of the business A consultancy with clear, company wide growth plans Excellent career progression, with promotion based on demonstrated capability and open conversations around performance rather than fixed annual review cycles Strong and proven APC support for those on the pathway to MRICS or keen to start. The business actively encourages chartership, has several surveyors currently on the pathway and has seen recent success with candidates passing in the last year, with more due to sit this year About You Degree qualified in Building Surveying Consultancy experience preferred, or currently operating in a similar client side role and looking to transition Experience across Contract Administration, Specifications, Stock Conditions and Defect Diagnosis Full driving licence and access to a car, as some sites are not practically accessible by public transport Either working towards chartership or interested in pursuing MRICS in the future This is an opportunity to join a consultancy where growth, support and progression are genuine, and where your development is taken seriously from day one.
