We are supporting a well-established FMCG manufacturing business in the appointment of a Business Account Manager to manage and develop strategic customer partnerships across a portfolio of key accounts.
This is an important commercial role, responsible for driving profitable growth through customer management, P&L ownership and the delivery of effective trading strategies.
Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and delivering sustainable business performance.
Role Details
Location: London Salary: Competitive salary + bonus + car allowance Contract: Permanent Working pattern: Home-based, with an expectation to attend the office two days per week
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic accounts, managing commercial performance and developing plans that deliver both customer and business objectives.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Managing full P&L responsibility across a portfolio of customer accounts, including profitability, investment and commercial performance Developing and executing customer trading strategies, Joint Business Plans and growth initiatives Leading customer negotiations across areas including pricing, margin, investment and promotional activity Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and working collaboratively with internal teams to maximise opportunities
What We're Looking For

Proven experience within FMCG sales or commercial account management Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, negotiations and customer investment Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills with the ability to operate at all levels A results-focused mindset with strong analytical ability and a drive to deliver growth
