Business Administrator | Bakewell, Derbyshire | Full Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | £26,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Administrator to support the full range of Business Administration and HR activities and work closely with our Management Team.
The role will involve administration, office management, HR and finance support, logistics, ISO and quality management, record-keeping, written correspondence and maintaining company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be based at the Head Office in Bakewell, Derbyshire and will be accountable on a day-to-day basis to the Business Administration Manager. They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workloads effectively and deliver to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Business Administration team to deliver HR and Business Administration activities Undertake secretarial and general administrative duties including telephone, reception, purchasing, post, filing, correspondence, minute-taking and record-keeping Manage diaries, arrange meetings and coordinate CPD events Process purchase and sales ledger entries, expenses and company credit cards Manage landlords and office leases Provide support and cover across Business Administration, HR and Finance Undertake ISO internal auditing and maintain the quality management system Support GDPR compliance Administer company benefits including health cash plans, health insurance and life assurance Manage operational portals and keep them up to date and compliant, including PQQ portals Undertake office management responsibilities across the Head Office and other offices Manage company vehicles, including booking MOTs, servicing and coordinating repairs and maintenance Act as a Health and Safety ambassador, ensuring legal compliance within the Bakewell office and completing daily and monthly checks Complete HR administration including maintaining employee documents and files Update and maintain policies and procedures in line with employment law updates Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to onboarding, training and exit Support the HR Lead with employee relations processes including absence management, performance and conduct Maintain the employee training matrix and arrange training courses Maintain the Company diary, including property leases, managerial appointments and service contract expiry dates Produce Purchase Orders for procurement Maintain equipment inventories and deal with Company insurances Promote and deliver the Vision, Mission and Culture of the Company Follow and enforce Company rules and procedures Undertake occasional travel for meetings, training and other business requirements Carry out any other duties allocated from time to time Requirements
Essential
Experience in a Business Administration role Strong experience across administration duties, including office management Experience managing office premises Experience dealing with company insurances Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines Professional and personable approach Ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience supporting HR and finance administration Experience maintaining records, policies and procedures Desirable
Experience working with a quality management system, including ISO internal auditing Experience supporting GDPR compliance and employee relations processes Experience managing operational portals, including PQQs What’s In It For You
