We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join our award-winning Business Advisory team. Role Definition As a Senior Manager at FPM, you have a key role in supporting Directors and Partners in the delivery of awesome client service! The role will be to lead in both public sector and private sector assignments. As a leading local business advisory firm, we work with local development agencies, councils and Government departments, in addition to some of the most exciting businesses across the island of Ireland. As part of this role, you'll be undertaking client-facing work, providing advice and adding value at every stage of the engagement. You should have technical knowledge and an ability to use this to deliver client assignments from planning through to completion. Essential criteria include key people management skills including delegation, motivation and support. You will manage team workflow and control time and cost budgets. You will build strong professional relationships, and using your own business network, you will support the growth initiatives of the firm. You will be at the top end of business, where you're recognised for the impact you make and your ability to network and build lasting relationships. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of Outline Business Cases (OBC's) and Post Project Evaluations (PPE's) for public sector assignments; Preparation of business cases and financial projections for private and public sector clients; Provision of funding solutions to include bank proposals, business plans and financial models; Leading on management consultancy assignments to facilitate business growth, strategy planning and facilitating succession planning; Providing support to organisations administering public grant schemes; Working with client businesses in a mentoring capacity to strengthen their outputs, set KPI's and help drive efficiencies and growth; Driving initiatives to enhance operational excellence. Support Directors & Partners with project management and business development activities of the department Professional Qualifications and Education Required / Desirable A professional accountancy qualification - ACA/ACCA or equivalent, min 5 years experience Have achieved an undergraduate degree or above in any subject (2:1 classification preferred) Economics degree would be desired but not essential Public Sector experience would be preferred but not essential Required Attributes Great social skills and confidence with clients A knack for overcoming challenges to maintain strong business relations Attention to detail, be nifty with numbers, and have a knack for following processes within legislative guidelines Integrity and authenticity What's in it for you Tailored development programme Competitive salaries Industry leading employee appreciation package Charity volunteering opportunities to make a difference to the community Local & Global Secondment Opportunities Four-day week or half day Fridays!
