Role : Business Analyst

Location – UK, Leeds

Work Model – Hybrid(2 days work from Leeds YBS office is mandatory)

Experience required – 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering “As is” process maps for the Offset Mortgage process. Identify improvements to these processes ideally by applying Lean Six Sigma process improvement approach. Working with the customer journey team to identify improvements to the customer journey and finally mapping the and gaining sign off to the “to be” processes.

Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all analysis, which will include but won’t be limited to 

1. Mapping the “as is” processes.
2. Identification of
3. Lean Six Sigma process improvements.
4. Performance metrics for the “to be” process.
5. Risks in the “to be” process and their mitigation.
6. Organisational structure changes needed to accommodate “to be” process.
7. Improvement to and impacts on the customer journey.
8. Business requirements for any system changes
9. Options analysis.
10. Business impact assessment.

Accountability for the production and delivery of key business analysis documents, including but not limited to:

1. BA approach and plan.
2. Business Design Document.
3. Requirements Catalogue.

Effectively collaborating with the project team and subject matter experts to successfully deliver the above.

Required skills and experience:

Essential

• Ability to Independently work as the only Senior Business Analyst on a piece of work.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and being able to progress analysis work without having all the details clarified.
• Experience of the waterfall software development lifecycle.
• Working in a regulated environment, ideally in financial services.
• Ability to hit the ground running on an in-flight project which is moving at pace. By quickly getting up to speed and delivering with minimal support and disruption to project timelines.

Desirable

• Previous experience of working on a financial services treasury management system or treasury project.
• Lean Six Sigma belt or BCS or IIBA Business Analysis qualification.
