Business Analyst

Business Analyst and Project Manager – Newry: Permanent, full time:£50,000 to £60,000 DOE

REED Technology are delighted to be partnered with one of Northern Irelands leading Technology Organisations. This progressive and dynamic organisation are a market leader in their field and due to continued growth and success are currently seeking to add a additional Business Analyst to their team.

The purpose of the role of is to identify and define business needs, that can be transformed into actionable requirements, with each transformation project being managed and supervised from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

· Business Analysis:

o Conduct comprehensive reviews of processes and data across all departments

o Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in current operations

o Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications

o Develop data-driven recommendations for process enhancements

o Create detailed documentation of business processes and system requirements

· Project Management:

o Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion

o Collaborate closely with the development and systems support teams

o Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets

o Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution

o Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success

o Report project status to stakeholders and senior management

· Stakeholder Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads and key stakeholders

o Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings

o Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively to all levels of the organization

· Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit hire operations

o Propose and implement process improvements and technological solutions

o Monitor and report on the impact of implemented changes

Essential Criteria

· Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis/project management

· Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)

· Knowledge of process mapping and data analysis tools

· Agile/Scrum certification is a plus

· PRINCE2 or PMP certification is desirable
