Business Analyst

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Plymouth-based business for a Business Analyst to join their Head Office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded individual with strong Python and SQL skills to play a key role in turning complex data into meaningful business insights.

The Role
Working as part of a busy and growing team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, analysing large datasets and providing accurate reporting to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop existing Python models
Build new models in line with business requirements
Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results
Analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources
Produce reports and insights for management teams
Present findings clearly to stakeholders across the business
Investigate trends, issues and areas of concern
Support ongoing business analytics and performance monitoring
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience coding in Python
Strong SQL skills
Experience working with large and varied datasets
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong commercial awareness
Good time management and organisational skills
The ability to communicate complex information clearly
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong Microsoft Office skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
