Job Title: Business Analyst Location: London Working Setup: Hybrid Salary: Up to £50,000 PA Burman Recruitment are partnering with a university based in London looking to add a Business Analyst to their team to assist with a complex migration of their payroll system! We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in the Workday finance system to support our financial operations and drive efficiency through system optimisation and enhancement.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and analyse business requirements related to financial processes and systems.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday finance system-related queries, issues, and enhancements.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to implement and configure Workday finance system changes, including customisations, integrations, and upgrades.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and test plans.
Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective utilisation of the Workday finance system.
Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, patches, and industry best practices to ensure our financial systems remain current and aligned with organisational objectives.
Requirements: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the higher education sector.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Workday finance system, including configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools is desirable.
