Business Analyst - Client Reporting - Asset Management

We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Analyst to support change initiatives acrossClient Reporting, regulatory disclosures, and financial data within an asset management business.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver solutions that enhance reporting quality, data governance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement, workshops, and process analysis.
2. Define project scope and support delivery alongside Project Managers or in a combined BA/PM capacity.
3. Produce clear documentation including business requirements, process flows, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and user guides.
4. UseSQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python to analyse and document data, translating requirements for technical delivery teams.
5. Support data governance by ensuring strong data definitions, lineage, and quality controls.
6. Work with cross-functional Agile teams to support testing, delivery, and implementation.
7. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance client reporting capabilities.

Skills & Experience:

1. StrongBusiness Analysis experience across business and technology change initiatives.
2. Good understanding ofasset management operations and financial data.
3. Experience withclient reporting and regulatory disclosures , includingfactsheets, KIIDs/PRIIPs, QIRs, and MIRs .
4. Knowledge ofABOR/IBOR ,fund reference data , andperformance & attribution datasets.
5. Experience withFactSet andMorningstar Unity data.
6. Strong technical capability inSQL and Excel ;Power BI/Python desirable.
7. Experience working withinAgile delivery teams .
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.

Hybrid role: 3 days/week in office (Victoria)

Salary: Up to £130k
