Cardiff | Hybrid - 3 days in office | Up to £45,000 + Annual Bonus

We're currently working with Cardiff based Fintech who are now looking for a Business Analyst to join their Data Migration team.

Your focus will be understanding client data and processes, identifying gaps in existing product functionality, and defining clear requirements to address them.

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Data Migration Analyst with strong gap analysis, requirements gathering and financial services experience.

The Role
* Conduct detailed gap analysis across product functionality, data and business processes.
* Gather, analyse and document clear, actionable business and functional requirements.
* Assess client data and understand how it maps to existing product capability.
* Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to resolve identified gaps.
* Lead client and stakeholder meetings and confidently manage expectations.
* Support data reconciliation and validation ahead of go-live.

About You
* Background within similar Business Analysis, data migration or financial services change role.
* Strong, demonstrable experience in gap analysis and requirements documentation.
* Experience within Financial Services / FinTech / Financial Lending / Consumer and Commercial loans preferred
* Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, including senior-level engagement.
* Excellent Excel skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear business requirements.
* SQL experience is desirable, with Python and Jira/SQL Developer experience advantageous.

Desirable: SQL, Python, SQL Developer, Visual Studio Code, Jira or experience with financial/lending systems.
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Annual Bonus

Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days in the office
