Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in gas, power, and emissions trading within the European markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic trading platforms and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with electronic trading platforms (e.g., Trayport, TT) and understand their workflows.

Analyze and document the behavior of commodities traded in European gas, power, and emissions markets across futures, forwards, options, and other instruments.

Understand the interaction between electronically executed trades and recording in the ETRM system.

Support compliance monitoring requirements for electronic trading.

Provide input on exposure to algorithmic trading/execution.

Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders.

Collaborate effectively with technical teams, providing insight into business processes and functional requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience with trading platforms (Trayport, TT, or similar).

Strong knowledge of European gas, power, and emissions markets.

Experience with ETRM systems and electronic trading compliance.

Exposure to algorithmic trading or electronic execution strategies.

Excellent stakeholder management and business analysis skills.

Strong technical literacy (e.g., SQL knowledge, understanding of code branching, or similar technical concepts).
