Business Analyst Lead

Are you an experienced Lead Business Analyst ?

Do you have solid Change and IT project experience ?

Have you been responsible for managing and motivating a team of Analysts and overseeing a portfolio of change initiatives ?

If so I have a really interesting role with my client who is a leading Fintech business in the Investment management industry.

You will be based from either their office in the city centre of Edinburgh or Glasgow however they offer flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities include:
Lead, manage, motivate and develop a team of analysts, providing training, enhancing standards and instilling best practice.
Oversee a portfolio of change initiatives and small projects
Provide analytical oversight on larger projects
Help shape resource and capacity roadmap
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior stakeholders to drive and support change initiatives.
Research, analyse, and produce business and system requirements.
Develop and manage essential project documentation
Analyse business processes to identify areas for improvement and evaluate proposed solutions
Use project management tools like JIRA and Microsoft Project to track and govern change initiatives and projects.
Attend and lead project meetings and workshops
Develop and deliver training materials to end-users, providing post-implementation support and creating user manuals and guides.

Skills should include:
Demonstrable business analysis experience.
Experience managing a team of analysts
Conducting data and systems mapping and creating process maps.
Developing user documentation and performing gap analysis.
Conducting and overseeing testing phases
Improving and optimising processes.
Experience in leading small to medium-sized projects.
Ensuring effective project governance and leading project meetings and workshops.
Managing stakeholders and facilitating client and third-party interactions.
Support project teams throughout the lifecycle of change, including business readiness efforts to ensure successful implementation and adoption
Writing comprehensive business requirements

Highly beneficial experience:
Cloud migrations
IT systems upgrades
Agile
Data migrations
Operational experience in Financial Services or Investment operations.
