Business Analyst - Murex

I'm supporting a major UK financial institution at the forefront of a high-impact Murex migration programme. They're currently looking for a Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing customer and internal user experience across this critical transformation.

Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: London (2 Days On-Site)
Day Rate: Up to £834/PD
Contract Length: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Murex back office SME, interfacing with Market Operations and Technology teams
• Support the migration of collateral and bond products from Apex into Murex as part of Summit decommissioning (Phase 2)
• Drive test case definition, execution, and defect resolution through to go-live
• Collaborate on user story creation and refinement related to back office processes (settlements, payments, confirmations, reconciliations)
• Participate in integration of MLC into Murex
• Support early stages of Murex incremental development for back office features

Essential Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex, particularly in Back Office modules
• Proven experience in large-scale migrations or implementations involving Murex
• Familiarity with Summit and trade migration projects (at least product implementation or instance setup)
• Experience working closely with Market Operations to gather and define business requirements
• Full lifecycle involvement in testing and go-live support
