Business Intelligence Analyst, Daventry

c£45,000 - £50,000 per annum – (depending on experience)

The Sales Intelligence Analyst is responsible for managing and optimising Salesforce CRM while delivering accurate reporting, analysis and commercial insights that support business growth.

Working closely with the Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams, the role will ensure data integrity, develop meaningful dashboards and reports, identify sales trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations that improve sales performance, customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & CRM Management

* Maintain the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of the Salesforce CRM database.

* Develop, maintain and improve Salesforce dashboards, reports and analytics.

* Monitor data quality and implement processes to improve CRM governance.

* Identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce functionality, workflows and automation.

* Provide user support, guidance and training on Salesforce best practices.

Sales Intelligence & Reporting

* Analyse sales pipeline performance, forecasts, conversion rates and key KPIs.

* Produce regular sales reports, dashboards and management information.

* Analyse customer behaviour, sales trends and market performance to identify opportunities.

* Support territory planning, customer segmentation and sales target setting.

* Evaluate dealer and distributor performance through data analysis.

Commercial Support

* Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

* Support Sales and Marketing with campaign analysis, lead reporting and targeted customer data.

* Develop reporting solutions that improve business visibility and reduce manual administration.

* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Person Specification

Essential

Qualifications

* Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

Experience

* Previous experience in a Sales Intelligence, Sales Operations, Commercial Analyst or Business Analyst role.

* Extensive experience using Salesforce CRM, including reports and dashboards.

* Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and CRM data management.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

* Experience analysing data and presenting commercial insights to stakeholders.

Desirable

* Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics.

* Experience using Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.

* Knowledge of database management and data visualisation
