Business & Economics Teacher

Coba Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Northamptonshire that is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher for a long-term position.

The Role

Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
Monitoring, assessing and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
Supporting students to achieve their academic potential

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for supporting student achievement
Two recent professional references
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Full right to work in the UK
Desirable:

Experience teaching A-Level Business and Economics
Recent UK secondary school teaching experience
Ability to inspire and engage learners of varying abilities
