The successful candidate will commence on a full-time, fixed-term basis from January 2026 as Maternity Cover. Responsibilities

• Design and execute challenging and stimulating lessons in both Business and Economics throughout the secondary key stages.


• Guide and mentor students toward securing exceptional examination results at both GCSE and A-Level.


• Promote high-level critical thought and the practical application of economic and business principles.


• Evaluate and track student attainment meticulously, providing timely and targeted interventions.


• Actively support extra-curricular academic activities, such as investment clubs or enterprise challenges.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in Business Studies and/or Economics.


• Demonstrable experience teaching both subjects successfully, ideally across Key Stage 5.


• Proficiency in current curriculum frameworks and assessment requirements.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging a mixed and diverse student body.
