About the Business & Economics Teacher Role:

As a Business & Economics Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and real-world applications of business and economic principles. You will play a key role in shaping the future of young minds and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the business world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Business & Economics lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.


• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore business and economic concepts and develop their entrepreneurial skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress in Business & Economics, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the Business & Economics curriculum and departmental resources.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the business and economic world and incorporate real-world examples into your teaching.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Business & Economics teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.


• Experience teaching Business & Economics at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Business & Economics.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.


• A passion for Business & Economics and a commitment to inspiring students.
