Business & Economics Teacher | Haringey

A leading Mixed School in Haringey is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business & Economics Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Business & Economics Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 4 and 5 to understand the principles of business and the workings of the economy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Business & Economics Teacher lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.


• Prepare students thoroughly for A-Level Business and Economics examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of key business concepts, economic theories, and market forces.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Business & Economics Teacher.


• Contribute to the development of the business and economics curriculum and resources.


• Encourage critical thinking and an appreciation for the world of business and finance.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies or Economics.


• Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.


• Strong and comprehensive knowledge of business principles and economic theories.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students in the study of Business and Economics.
