Business Continuity Manager

Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager for a great company based in Portsmouth.

This is a hands-on role for a professional who has successfully implemented and managed ISO 22301 frameworks and can independently lead business continuity activities from strategy through to testing and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and maintain the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in line with ISO 22301.

* Lead ISO 22301 implementation activities, including governance, documentation, testing and continual improvement.

* Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) across critical business services, IT systems and infrastructure.

* Develop and lead continuity testing frameworks, including planning, execution, reporting and remediation tracking.

* Manage business continuity exercises covering scenarios such as cyber incidents, system outages, data breaches and operational disruptions.

* Complete audits, maturity assessments and provide reporting to senior stakeholders.

Essential Experience

* Previous experience in Business Continuity Management

* Proven experience implementing and managing an ISO 22301-aligned BCMS.

* Experience completing a full BCMS lifecycle, including implementation, testing and continual improvement.

* Strong experience independently delivering Business Impact Analyses (BIA), particularly for critical IT systems and infrastructure.

This hybrid role based in Portsmouth welcomes applications from candidates who live further afield; however, attendance at the office is required a minimum of two days per month at your own expense.

If you live within a commutable distance, they will be looking at you attending the office once a week.

Salary: up to £65,000 plus excellent staff benefits

Hours: 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
