Job Description - Business Development & Sales Executive

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dynamic Business Development & Sales Executive to join our team and drive new opportunities for sustainable business success.
As our Business Development & Sales Executive, you will be the engine behind our growth strategy. You’ll research, qualify, and nurture leads, cultivate key industry relationships, and collaborate with our marketing and customer-facing teams to turn inquiries into long-term partnerships. You’ll be hands-on at trade shows, proactive on planning portals, and innovative in your approach to market intelligence. Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
Follow up on inbound inquiries via phone and email
Monitor government and industry portals for new project leads
Research and target prospective dental practices planning refurbishments
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate lead and client data
Conduct quarterly courtesy calls to key clients for project updates and referrals
Liaise daily with sales and customer-facing teams to pipeline new opportunities
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Track competitor activity and industry trends, reporting insights to marketing
Collaborate with Marketing to support campaign execution and CPD training bookings
Networking & Events
Represent Anglian at exhibitions, conferences, and local networking events
Build and maintain relationships with industry suppliers and influencers
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to broader business development projects and marketing strategies
Support the planning and management of CPD training sessions
What We’re Looking For
Able to clearly articulate value propositions, handle client inquiries, and maintain ongoing communication with ease — both written and verbal.
Skilled in using Salesforce (or similar platforms) to track leads, manage relationships, and drive revenue.
Strong understanding of service contracts, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in market demands and competitive pressures.
Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders, particularly in service contracts or subscription-based businesses.
A self-starter who can identify opportunities, manage a pipeline, and bring solutions to clients with a “get it done” attitude. Highly adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow up on leads, close contracts, and adjust strategies as needed based on varying schedules or client demands.
Collaborative spirit with a focus on achieving team goals
