Job Description - Business Development Executive

Business Development Executive

Location: Highnam, Gloucestershire (On-site with flexibility)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

Four Squared Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Edge Networks, a rapidly growing and innovative IT services provider, in the search for a driven and results-focused Business Development Executive.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a dynamic team where your ideas, energy, and ambition will be valued and rewarded. You’ll be at the forefront of Edge Networks’ growth, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and helping clients access high-quality IT support and managed services.
Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and develop new business opportunities across target markets
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Understand client needs and pain points to present tailored IT solutions
  • Schedule and attend discovery meetings or demos with senior sales consultants
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align messaging and service delivery
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales KPIs and revenue targets
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity
About You

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation (ideally in tech or professional services)
  • Confident, outgoing, and resilient, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Results-oriented with a consultative sales approach
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital prospecting tools is a plus
  • An interest in IT/technology and how it supports businesses is advantageous
