Job Description - Business Development Executive

With bonus on all your new business wins, this Development Executive role offers progression professionally and financially.

You'll join a growing, modern insurance broker that combines global scale with a forward-thinking approach to technology and client service.

Based in South West London, this role offers scope to build your own pipeline, develop relationships across the UK commercial and professional sectors, and be rewarded directly for new business success.

What you'll do as Development Executive:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial and professional sectors
  • Develop and manage your own pipeline, supported by data, systems and marketing resources
  • Build trusted relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored insurance solutions
  • Work with internal teams, including broking and claims, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client support
  • Contribute to the wider growth strategy of the business while keeping a commercial focus on new business wins

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in commercial insurance business development or a related client-facing role
  • Confidence in building relationships and managing the full sales cycle
  • Organised approach to developing and maintaining a pipeline
  • Comfortable using technology to manage prospects and track progress
  • A self-motivated Development Executive - professional and focused on delivering results
