Job Description - Business Development Executive

Sammons Recruitment are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Executive on behalf of a growing and innovative B2B technical set up business.
 
This is a great opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and supporting company growth within a fast-paced and creative industry.
Working closely with a small team, you will play a key role in generating new leads, developing client relationships and helping to increase brand presence across the events sector. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, networking and working in a dynamic environment.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Generate new leads and identify business development opportunities
Build and maintain strong long term client relationships
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to securing bookings
Attend networking events, meetings and industry functions when required
Support the development and implementation of business development and marketing strategies
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support company growth objectives
Support marketing activity and brand awareness initiatives
Keep accurate records of sales activity and client communications 
Skills, Experience and Training Requirements

Previous experience within sales, business development, marketing or client relationship management
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Confident networking both over the phone and face-to-face
Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to conversion
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Self-motivated, target driven, and commercially aware
Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team
Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering excellent client experiences
Full UK driving licence due to local travel requirements
