Business Development Executive

Job Description

Blue Legal are delighted to announce that we have partnered with an award-winning national law firm to recruit a Business Development Executive for their Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role-holder will support the delivery of business development and marketing initiatives for the firm’s Property and Infrastructure division.

The Responsibilities:

Provide both strategic and practical BD support to the firm’s Property and Infrastructure practice and the Government & Public sector.
Undertake market, sector and client research and analysis to support key clients, events, tender responses, prospect identification and other BD activities.
Assist the BD Manager with the delivery of activities required under BD plans
Working together with lead partners to develop and implement market-specific BD strategies and plans for the relevant sectors, in line with the firm’s strategic priorities.
Support partners and other lawyers to carry out the activities required to meet practice and sector group objectives
Mentoring and supporting the ongoing development of lawyers’ BD knowledge and skills.
Build relationships with lawyers and other colleagues as required to execute BD activities and plans.

The Candidate:

At least two years’ experience in a BD or marketing role ideally within professional services.
Educated to degree level.
Excellent competency and skills using MS office packages.
