Business Development Executive Director

Job Description Entry level role, full time office based.

Starting salary 20k to 26k GBP PA basic, depending on experience, + uncapped commission, OTE 35 000 - 40 000 GBP.

We are an established and successful niche conference organising company and are now seeking additional highly motivated and focused personnel to join in the success of our company.

You will need to be a polished, confident and articulate professional, as your role will be to present and sell the company's portfolio of high quality niche events to mid- and senior level business leaders in their fields.

Achieving Sales and Key Performance Indicators as set down by the Management team.
- Responsibility for generating new business as well as increasing sales from existing clients.
- Working closely within a team, both in the UK and Overseas to deliver successful events.
- Having the ability to project a professional and confident aura about the company’s conferences which generates a “buy-in” from potential clients
- Successful candidates can expect to travel 4-5 times a year, attending our business conferences, networking with clients, developing senior level relationships and converting these to business.

Prior Business to Business sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to multi task, as well as working on your own and as part of a team with limited supervision.
- Good IT skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of a European language is a plus.
