The role of the Business Development Executive - Roofing & Cladding Products will involve:

• Business Development Executive position selling a range of various roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings
• Predominantly selling into builders merchants and roofing merchants
• Dealing with customer enquiries offering technical advice and solutions
• Responsible for proactively generating new business
• Raising quotations, sales orders and purchase orders
• Working in tandem with the Regional Account Manager to fulfil merchant requirements
• Building and developing strong business relations encouraging repeat custom
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service at all times

The ideal applicant will be Business Development Executive - Roofing & Cladding Products with:

• Must have B2B sales experience, proactive Account Management or Business Development experience would be advantageous
• Ideally will have a working knowledge of the construction industry
• Ideally will have experience selling roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings, however not essential
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building qualities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
